Ratio Voters/Fans on Social Media – DJ Mag Top 100

This year the DJ Mag Top 100 received almost a million verified votes. 21 new DJs entered into the Top 100 DJs poll. Further there were three re-entries and seven non-movers. Nearly 30% of the DJs in the Top 100 (exactly 29) are from Holland, reflecting the continued dominance of the global dance scene.

What happens when we put these votes in perspective towards the cumulative amount of fans on social media? If we take the fans of the DJs which were in the Top 100 in the past 4 years (including this year’s new entries) than extract the voters/fan ratio a different perspective appears.
